WHO ARE WE?

Welcome! My name is Melissa Baker Nguyen and I am an author, illustrator, graphic designer, and proud wife of a BJJ fanatic.

I have spent more time in the Bjj club than many who actually train. I've watches thousands of hours of footage, travelled far and wide for Bjj, we go to so many clubs, meet new people, take seminars, and I absolutely love it.

I'm the one behind the camera taking video, and photos, I don't train.

I still feel like I am part of the team making this happen. So in order to feel less awkward about wearing all of my Bjj gear- I decided to create a line for those of us who are in the club, but not rolling.

So this is for all us ladies who spend just as much time in the club, listening to the play by play, watching the footage, washing + mending gis, as our guys spend on the mat.

Here's to celebrating the amazing journey that comes with being a BJJ wife!
